SssangYong adds new LE special edition to Korando's range, improving standard equipment

SsangYong has extended its Korando crossover range with a new 'LE' special edition. Starting from £17,995, it is adds several thousand pounds worth of equipment for little extra cost, and will be released this autumn.

The Korando LE builds on EX spec and adds 18-inch diamond cut alloys, a piano black radiator grille, sidesteps, a rear spoiler and clear glass indicators, with a choice of four exterior colours - white, metallic black, blue and green.

New cabin features include a seven-inch touchscreen with Bluetooth, TomTom sat-nav and a rear-view camera, while rear parking sensors, privacy glass, climate control and heated front seats are also thrown in.

The Korando LE is only available with the new Euro 6 2.2-litre diesel engine, which produces 175bhp, manages 53.3mpg combined and emits 139g/km of CO2. Buyers can spec a six-speed automatic gearbox for £1,000, while every car comes with SsangYong's five-year warranty.
