Limited edition Nissan Navara Salomon ski truck goes on sale

Nissan has teamed up with Salomon mountain sports brand to release a special edition of the Navara pick-up

Nissan has announced that a special high-spec Salomon edition of its popular Navara pick-up range will go on sale priced at £27, 845.

The Navara Salomon, as the name suggests, is a collaborative effort between the Japanese carmaker and Salomon, the popular mountain sports brand. The pick-up is based on the Tekna trim that can be found on the standard Navara but this special model features a long list of additional extras. To make it more unique, only 500 examples will be put into production.

Exterior styling enhancements that make the Salomon edition stand out from the rest of the Nissan Navara range include a chrome front bar and door handles, and the addition of chrome fog-light surrounds. To ensure that there’s no confusion about this being a limited edition, Salomon branding can be found on the front, side and rear of the vehicle, which is available in Metallic Black, Twilight Grey, Starburst Silver or Alabaster White.

Inside this one-off Navara, more Salomon branding can be found on the entry guards, on a metal plaque and on the Salomon floor mats. Nissan is keen to point out that the value for all of this additional equipment would total over £1,300, however, the Navara Salomon costs just £750 more than the equivalent Tekna model.

The Navara Salomon has an on the road price of £27,845 and customers will also receive a £250 voucher to spend on Salomon gear. An automatic transmission is optional for an additional £1,755, and an extra £1,650 will get you Nissan Connect Premium, which includes HDD satellite navigation, 9GB Nissan Music Box, DVD playback and a rear parking camera.
