Nissan Juke Kiiro special edition unwrapped for 2022

The Nissan Juke Kiiro special edition receives a grey and yellow colour scheme and bespoke design touches - just 500 units are destined for the UK

Nissan has unveiled a limited edition version of its Juke crossover, featuring numerous cosmetic tweaks and unique interior finishes. Called the Juke Kiiro, the new model is limited to just 500 units in the UK, and will be available to order from the end of February.

The Juke’s exterior design is largely untouched, save for a Kiiro-specific colour scheme. The car is finished in a new Ceramic Grey paint shade with contrasting bright yellow highlights.

At the front, there’s aluminium trim and yellow trim accents, which also extend to the side sills and rear bumper. The Juke Kiiro is fitted with a set of gloss black 19-inch wheels, while Kiiro-specific graphics have been applied to the roof and door mirrors.

The cabin of the Kiiro retains the same layout as other Juke models, with a sculpted dashboard, circular air vents and an eight-inch infotainment touchscreen. However, the seats are trimmed in black cloth with yellow stitching and unique black and metallic grey inserts. Yellow stitching also picks out the central armrest, centre console, door panels and dashboard. A Kiiro badge ahead of the gear selector marks out the limited-run car.

Elsewhere, the Kiiro utilises the same NissanConnect infotainment system found in other models, featuring TomTom navigation with live traffic updates, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa are integrated, too.

Under the bonnet, the Juke Kiiro is fitted with the same 1.0-litre turbocharged three-cylinder engine as other Jukes. It produces 112bhp, and drives through a six-speed manual gearbox as standard, but a dual-clutch automatic - controlled by paddle shifters on the steering wheel - is optional.

The Juke Kiiro will go on sale towards the end of February, with pricing yet to be confirmed. It’s limited to 5000 units worldwide, with 500 of those arriving in the UK. The special edition crossover will be promoted alongside Matt Reeves’ The Batman film as part of Nissan’s partnership with the title, with numerous Batman-themed ad campaigns.
